My top 5 facials. Each for 5 different skin types.
Gold facials have become all the rage recently so I picked up this baby at Sally’s Beauty Supply to see what all the hype was about. Not only is it a super cool metallic gold color, but it smells just like a spa- fresh, clean, and a bit flowery.
This mask claims to illuminate and firm revealing fresh, smooth and glowing skin as well as a tighter and more lifted appearance.
Apply on clean dry skin. Let the product set for about 15 minutes or until it is completely dry. Once dry, peel off of face.
After using this product, I did notice that my face appeared brighter. Tighter? Not as noticeable.
This is my “I don’t know whats going on with my face, but it needs a facial” kind of facial. With lavender and bergamot scents, this facial helps me unwind from the daily stress of life. It is also a cool bright blue/aqua color.
Going back to nature, this product contains dead sea minerals and sea salts, making me a happy girl knowing I’m not putting chemicals and artificial things on my face. And the best part, it’s only $4!
I use this mask when I feel like my blackheads are taking over. Because it is a super black color, you can see all of the gunk that it pulls off of your face once you peel it off, and let me tell you.. it pulls off a lot of blackheads and gunk no matter how often I use this product.
I apply this product thick enough to completely cover my skin. It does take a while to dry completely so it is not the type of facial you can use when you have 10 extra minutes before heading out the door.
I had found a great deal on Groupon to have 5 microdermabrasion treatments done. After they were all used up, I did not want to pay full price to continue treatments so I picked up this product and it works JUST like paying hundreds for microdermabrasion.
Super easy and quick product to use. It contains pumpkin, a natural ingredient (YES!) Apply a thin layer to clean dry skin. Then, after about 30 seconds to a minute, rub your face firmly. The product rolls into little balls and pulls off dead skin cells as you rub it. I do not recommend this to someone with sensitive skin, as it is pretty rough on your face.
You are supposed to use this product 2-3 times a week which is so doable when it only takes 1 minute to use.
I have never used this product as a cleanser, only as a mask; but you can do both which is pretty neat. This mask is great for people who have oily and acne prone skin. It does have a cold/tingle feeling when applied so don’t be alarmed when your face feels funny. I originally didn’t know it would feel that way and get worried that I was having a reaction to it.
Another great thing about this product is that it is sold at many stores (Walgreens, CVS, Target, Walmart, etc.).
