Anyone else been frying their hair since highschool?
I’m an expert when it comes to hot tools. You name it, I’ve probably burned my hair and hands and neck and any other body part around my face with it.
Not so funny story— when I was in high school and just learning how to use a straightener, I clamped it on my ear and, I kid you not, my ear was crusty and brown for at least a week!
We have come a long way since then my friends. A very long way.
I have been using the T3 Whirl Trio Interchangeable Styling Wand Set since my lovely mother got it for me for Christmas. Guys. I am OBSESSED. I may never go back to curling my hair with my straightener ever again.
Perks of Using the T3 Curling Wand vs. Other Brands
This product maintains the same heat throughout the entire length of the barrel which is one of the reasons the end result is so defined and why your style will last through the entire day.
The barrels are made of ceramic, which is one of the BEST materials on the market because it adds shine to your hair while holding the style longer than other materials.
This wand also has 5 adjustable heat settings ranging from 260-410 °F.
My hair is fine so I never put mine past the second heat setting. However, if you have thick hair, you may need to use setting 3 or 4.
What It Comes With
- 1-inch Straight Barrel
- 1.25-inch to .75-inch Tapered Barrel
- 1.5-inch Straight Barrel
- Power Adaptor
- Heat glove
What Each Barrel Does
The 3 barrels help you achieve 3 different looks. Depending on your hair length and type, you may use one of the barrels more or less than the other.
The 1-inch straight barrel is best suited for woman who have shoulder length hair or shorter. This barrel gives added volume while also helping the hair maintain their curls throughout the entire day. No touch-up needed here!
The 1.25-inch to .75-inch tapered barrel gives you mermaid-esk hair with large curls closer to the roots and ringlet curls at the ends. This barrel works great with any hair length and type.
The 1.5-inch straight barrel is best suited for someone with longer hair like mine. I tend to reach for this barrel the most. The result is large, loose, natural waves.
Do you have any horror stories about using heat tools? Please make me feel better 🙂
